Since 2008, Minimal Malaysia or better known as Minimalaysia has been the home base and canvas for Aizul Azuan (Hebbo) visualizing on what he wanted to create and bringing together different ideas with energies on others vision of variety for discerning local music fans exploring the heights and depths of minimalist music. His passion for these things has driven to create this space.

Hebbo began it’s journey by launching monthly parties and podcast series back in January 2009, featured an exclusive showcase of electronic music from top and uprising local and international DJs around the world. After years of DJing he decided to start a record label to continue his mission showcasing talented and diverse sounding artists within the realm of minimal house and techno. That led to the birth of Minimalaysia Record Label in 2013.

Now self-distributed in Bandcamp, Minimalaysia have released music from the scenes most highly underground artists: Ciprian Stan, Leo Pol, Dejvid, Anamorph, Suolo, Zepovek, Pipholp, Octave, Fardin Ameri, A Blade Of Grass. Plus remixes by Dubsons, M-Phunk, Clep, Vincenzo Monastra, MINt, Libe have all graced in Minimalaysia imprint.

Minimalaysia will announced their new sub-label, Idolem in the future with the intent to release exclusively on vinyl only, this will leave their mark on a growing worldwide discography. In the next few months we will also be announcing more about Minimalaysia’s first forthcoming various artist release.
